The objective of this research is to do an analysis of the spatialization of hot spots, over 13 years, in Candeias do Jamari, state of Rondonia, in the Amazon. The methodological basis is a qualitative and quantitative approach of the data and is anchored in satellite images and maps of hot spots produced from a set of data (2007, 2011, 1015, 2019 and 2020), where densities of the areas of study were calculated using the kernel density estimator, present in the Spatial Analyst extension of the free software QGIS 2.8.9 WIEN. Works of this nature allow a global view of the area, highlighting the regions that most suffer from anthropic pressures and the processes that are intrinsic to this society, as well as an assessment in light of current legislation. During the analysis, there was a constant evolution in the environmental degradation process in the county, propitiated by the slash and burn process, reaching 1,899, 496, 7,609, 18,635 and 33 hot spots for the years 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019 and 2020, respectively. It was evident that the occupation of restricted areas without proper protection and the transformation of areas previously indicated for the vegetal extraction, nowadays, used for large-scale production of soy and / or pasture.
