Resumen
The article analyses the evolution experienced in relation to theoretical formulations on democracy and democratic socialism in Christians for Socialism and other Christian-Marxist intellectuals between the late 1960s and the 1970s in Spain, using their abundant theoretical and militant production. The research allows us to confirm the existence in these, from the beginning, of a model of democracy with liberal roots, as well as a progressive process of relativisation of the very presuppositions, both Marxist and, indirectly, Christian. These approaches are becoming more and more open with the arrival of the Transition and the full acceptance of a framework of relativisation of values.
